Biblical Resources

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

2 Timothy 3:16-17

Books

Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis is a classic work of Christian apologetics that explores the core beliefs and rational foundations of the Christian faith for believers and nonbelievers alike. It originated as a series of BBC radio broadcasts during World War II, later compiled into a single volume in 1952.

more carpenter.jpg

More Than a Carpenter is a bestselling Christian apologetics book by Josh McDowell (and his son Sean in updated editions) that presents an evidence-based argument for the divinity and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Originally a skeptic, McDowell shares his personal journey to faith after attempting to disprove Christianity through research.

total forgiveness.jpg

This book, first published in 2001, argues that total forgiveness is a core gospel message essential for inner peace and freedom from bitterness and resentment. The central message is not only that God totally forgives us, but that we, in turn, must totally forgive others.

love languages.webp

Gary Chapman's theory suggests that everyone has a primary love language, and by identifying and "speaking" your partner's love language, you can foster a stronger, more fulfilling relationship and help them feel truly loved. The concepts have since been expanded into versions for singles, children, and the workplace.

circle maker.jpg

The Circle Maker is a New York Times best-selling book by Mark Batterson that encourages readers to pray boldly around their dreams and fears. The book is inspired by the ancient Jewish legend of Honi the Circle Maker (Honi ha-M'agel), a first-century BC miracle-worker who is said to have drawn a circle in the sand and remained inside it, praying and refusing to move until God sent rain during a severe drought.
